Aint No Sunshine

Guilt Free Affair
12:50 PM

How do you use rhythms of world music, but engage listeners with songs they

know and like? How do you have more than one musical love? Guilt-Free Affair is the answer. It's REALLY OK to have strong vocals, pop and soul melodies, jazzy improvisations, popping Latin percussion, and funky bass lines. Enjoy Guilt-Free Affair with a clear conscience and bring your dancing shoes.

Guilt-Free Affair is vocalist Lisa Ray, Ronn Baker on guitar, saxophonist Jeff Brown, Eric Nicholson on electric bass, plus percussionists Fuz Sanderson and Jubal Creech.

Game of Love

Brandon McGinness
2:00 PM

"Opportunities are everywhere and the ones we take advantage of, as well as the ones we do not, shape our lives and who we are as an individual. I have let my music take me to many places and it has let me accomplish many things. No matter what my future holds, my music will always be with me because a person can not just leave his soul behind and let his body continue the journey alone." Brandon

Brandon's songs are about life, the parts of life we all experience and can relate to as our own. He sings about relationships: two people coming together, their efforts to become one, their long term joy, or the struggle of heartache. He sings about the hope each day brings, the fullness of life gained by those who seize it. He has a diverse musical background and has performed in choral groups for 11 years and performed in musical stage productions, to include six operas. He gained invaluable insight regarding stage presence through his opera experiences. Brandon's choral music experiences have exposed him to different cultures as he has traveled and performed in Italy, Hawaii, and on the grandest stage of all, Carnegie Hall. These experiences also have included television productions. He performed on Good Morning America and in three PBS Christmas specials. His debut CD, a five-song EP, will be released in June.

Real Reubens
3:10 PM

Original Rock Music with a dash of funky, a smidge of Latin, a cut of Blues, a taste of Country, a dab of Folk, a little Jam Band, a hint of Americana & a just a dab of Calypso. All delivered with feeling and energy that infects the crowd with grooves, rhythms, and good feeling. Add a little spirit and good folks and you have a tasty recipe for a good time. Real Reubens are known and liked for their non-pretentious attitudes, laid back vibe and truly digging making great music together. They like to keep it a little raw, keep it real. So, they rehearse as little as possible-just kidding. They try very hard to make the audience part of the show for they are what drive it. The exchange of energy between the crowd and the band is what fuels the vibe and always inspires the band to reach for just a little more.

Beautiful Mistake

Mobley
5:30 PM

Drawing from stylistic influences as varied as they are numerous, Mobley has synthesized these elements into one sound and thrilled audiences of all kinds. Unwilling (or unable) to tread a single path, Mobley challenges your expectations of a typical pop-rock band by unifying all of these influences.

The songs run the gamut from danceable rock to piano pop beneath bubbling synths to soaring orchestral epics to moody pulses with angular hooks. Regardless of how you categorize it, Mobley's melodic music is always tempered with pop sensibilities that make it both memorable and accessible. Their musical versatility, tight and energetic live shows, and fun-loving manner will leave you in breathless anticipation of the next show.

After months of working in the studio, Mobley is releasing their anticipated EP "2/3." The 5 track, high-energy disc is just a sample of their varied and versatile sound. After a successful year in Chapel Hill, Mobley will be relocating to Austin, TX where they will continue to perform and create the music that they love.
